Because of the wide range of substrates that rotary machines can engrave, our customers have the opportunity to engrave a variety of different products. While Laser Engraving and Sandcarving are great for engraving many trophies and awards, Rotary Engraving can be well suited for custom metal signage, as well as many traditional items, such as products like tankards, flasks, boxes, watches, luggage tags, etc.
Rotary Engraving is the term used to describe engraving done with a rotating cutting tool in a motorized spindle. The tool, or cutter, cuts into the surface of the material to a predetermined depth and produces a groove of the same shape and dimension of the cutter. This technique is excellent for machine tags, legend plates, and permanent marking on fixtures and equipment. Rotary machines engrave into the material, rather than mark or burn it, producing noticeable depth that you can feel.
Since the passage of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), all public access buildings are required to have braille signage. This means that hospitals, schools, government buildings, and restaurants all need braille signs. Restrooms, meeting rooms, exits, and elevators are just a few of the areas that require these signs. Naples Awards has experience creating a variety of signage for businesses that incorporate braille. Naples Awards has also created an assortment of custom signage in different materials for businesses and associations, and for personal use.
